You can already find a lot about Hof Rihula and us on this website. In a nutshell: We are the association “estwärts”, which has set itself the goal of preserving the old forestry farm “Rihula” in the north-east of Estonia, which is in urgent need of renovation, and developing it into an international meeting place and accommodation for hikers. Our second four-week construction project will take place in August 2025, where we want to build for example a composting toilet for ourselves and for hikers passing by.

Of course, the whole thing costs a bit: We have costs for food for the volunteers and for drives on the site, the brushcutters need to be refueled, we need building material, nails and screws, gas and toilet paper …
