es ist wieder so weit. Nach einem tollen Start im letzten Jahr (schaut euch dazu gerne nochmal unseren Blog an) soll schon die zweite Bauhütte auf Rihula stattfinden!

Wann? Wir planen vom 3. August bis 31. August 2025 in wechselnder Besetzung zu bauen. Ihr könnt die gesamte Zeit dabei sein oder für einen kürzeren Zeitraum kommen. Es wird drei bis vier gemeinsame Anreisetermine geben und in der Anmeldung könnt ihr angeben, wann ihr dabei sein wollt.

Wo? Der alte Forsthof heißt Rihula und liegt nahe Rakvere, östlich von Tallinn. Er befindet sich in einer sehr dünn besiedelten Gegend mit viel Wald und einem Fluss direkt am Grundstück. Hier gibts ne Karte.

Wie? Wir möchten gerne, dass sich alle auf dem Hof wohlfühlen, deswegen soll die Bauhütte auch dieses Jahr wieder weitestgehend alkoholfrei sein. Bitte achte darauf, die Mitnahme von Haustieren wie beispielsweise Hunden mit uns abzusprechen. Wir hoffen, dass wir eine möglichst bunte und auch internationale Gruppe werden und ein freundschaftliches, respektvolles Miteinander entsteht. Sollte das mal nicht gelingen, wird es immer Ansprechpersonen geben, an die ihr euch wenden könnt.

Noch was? Ja! Am Samstag, den 16.8., wollen wir das Bergfest der Bauhütte feiern. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, Interessierte, Bauhelfer:innen und Freund:innen des Projekts (wieder-)zusehen und gemeinsam den feierlichen Höhepunkt der Bauhütte zu begehen.

Bitte check’ auch gleich deinen Impfpass. In Rihula gibt es viele Zecken, wir empfehlen also dringend eine FSME-Impfung.

Kost und Logis stemmen wir als Verein. Die Fahrtkosten werden wir nicht pauschal übernehmen können. Für die Organisation der Anreise (z.B. mit Fernbus oder Fahrgemeinschaften) bringen wir die Informationen aus euren Anmeldungen zusammen und schlagen einen Plan vor. Deshalb kauft bitte noch keine Tickets o.ä. bis wir uns nach Mitte Juni bei euch melden!

Infotreffen! Voraussichtlich am 17. Juni machen wir eine kleine Online-Einführung in das Projekt und die Bauhütte und ein kurzes Kennenlernen der diesjährigen Runde. Alle, die sich bis dahin angemeldet haben, werden automatisch eingeladen. Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Invitation to our second workcamp in Rihula

Dear friends,

It’s time again! After a fantastic start last year (feel free to check out our blog again), we’re excited to announce our second workcamp at Rihula!

When? We’re planning to be there from August 3rd to August 31st, 2025 with rotating groups of participants. You can join us for the entire period or come for a shorter stay. There will be three to four common arrival dates, and you can indicate your preferred period of time at the workcamp in the registration form.

Where? Rihula is a historic forester’s estate located near Rakvere, east of Tallinn, Estonia. It’s situated in a beautifully remote area surrounded by forests, with a river running right through the property. Here is a map.

What’s the vibe? We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome at Rihula, so we’re keeping the workcamp largely alcohol-free. Also make sure to contact us in advance if you would like to bring pets such as dogs for example. We’re hoping to bring together a diverse, international group of people and create an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect. If any issues arise, there will always be designated contact persons available to help.

Something special? Yes! On Saturday, August 16th, we’re hosting our “Bergfest” (mid-camp celebration). After last year’s successful first celebration at Rihula, we’re excited to continue the tradition. We look forward to seeing interested participants, helpers, and friends of the project come together for this festive highlight of our workcamp.

Important health note: Please check your vaccination status. There are many ticks in Rihula, so we strongly recommend getting a TBE (tick-borne encephalitis) vaccination.

We as an association will cover the costs of food and accommodation. However, we will not be able to cover any travel costs. For those traveling from far away, we will help organize transportation options (like long-distance buses or carpooling) based on your registration information and suggest a travel plan. Therefore, please do not purchase any tickets until we contact you after mid-June!

We expect to have a short online introduction to the project and the workcamp on June 17 and a brief introduction to this year’s group. Everyone who has registered by then will automatically be invited. We look forward to seeing you there!
