estwärts

Hello everyone,

we are the German association “estwärts” and this year, on August 22, we’d like to invite you to the German-Estonian farm café in Rihula for the first time! We’re planning to have a small cultural programm where we’d like to highlight German and Estonian music.

The café will be taking place from 12 to 5 p.m. Throughout the event, we’ll be serving you fresh food and drinks, including barbecue, German potato pancakes, onion soup, salads, campfire twist bread, coffee, cakes and more.

This year’s cultural program is as follows:

• 2:00 p.m.: Joint singing workshop to learn a German song for everyone who is interested
• 3:30 p.m.: Performance of estwärts e.V. featuring vocals and guitar accompaniment

In addition, there will be guided tours and a photo exhibition showcasing the work from recent years throughout the café.

For everyone who’s made it this far, here are a few words about us: Our association was founded in 2023 with the goal of transforming the old forest farm Rihula into a place for culture and international exchange. Currently, we visit the farm once a year for a few weeks to renovate the buildings and organize small cultural events and excursions.
